We are pleased to announce the start of a new project in the coastal region of Cantabria (Spain), in a small village that offers a rich combination of history and natural landscapes. This project will invite us to delve deeply into the research of vernacular architecture, local materials, and the unique characteristics of the local landscape.
The characteristic topography of the area, formed by rocky cliffs and pristine beaches surrounded by lush Atlantic vegetation, offers us a natural canvas that deserves to be treated with the utmost respect. In this context, we will adopt an approach that takes into account the history and traditional forms of the place, without compromising innovation in terms of sustainability and construction techniques. The integration of local materials, such as limestone and wood from native species, will be key to maintaining coherence with the aesthetics and essence of the landscape in the area.
